Edward J. Moloney, Jr.
An attorney for nearly thirty years, Edward J. Moloney, Jr. has substantial experience in a number of practice areas. Attorney Moloney regularly represents individuals, families, businesses, and lenders in the sale, purchase and refinance of commercial and residential properties.
Attorney Moloney has also represented clients in civil litigation, personal injury, and misdemeanor criminal defense matters. He has tried many cases in the District and Superior Courts of Massachusetts.

Emily Moloney Smith
Prior to joining Moloney Smith Law in November 2012, Emily Moloney Smith practiced at Edwards Wildman Palmer LLP (formerly Edwards Angell Palmer & Dodge LLP) in Boston, Massachusetts for six years. At Edwards Wildman, Attorney Smith gained extensive experience representing individuals, corporations, educational institutions, and other non-profit organizations before the Massachusetts Commission Against Discrimination and in state and federal court. Attorney Smith now combines her big firm experience with small firm attention to assist clients with a wide variety of legal needs.
Attorney Smith regularly counsels employers regarding hiring decisions, compensation agreements, individual terminations, non-competition agreements, severance agreements, internal investigations, personnel policies, compliance with state and federal laws, and assists employers in drafting employee handbooks, offer letters, restrictive covenants, and separation agreements. Attorney Smith also reviews and negotiates employment agreements, restrictive covenants (such as non-competition agreements), and separation agreements on behalf of individuals.
Attorney Smith also has significant litigation experience, including contract, probate, employment, real estate, and fiduciary disputes. She has represented clients in mediation and arbitration and before the Massachusetts Commission Against Discrimination, the District and Superior Courts of Massachusetts, and the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts.

During law school, Attorney Smith was a member of the Suffolk University Law Review and served as the Articles Editor.
